American Air Operations provides emergency air support services to public safety agencies (federal, state, county, local, tribal, and college/university) throughout Michigan. In addition, American Air Operations provides emergency air support to public safety agencies throughout the United States of America after a natural disaster.
The following are some emergency public safety situations American Air Operations can assist with:
American Air Operations operates a variety of aircraft. Our primary aircraft is equipped with thermal
imaging, a 200x zoom camera, laser range finder, spotlight, and loudspeaker. The aircraft
can fly in adverse weather. American Air Operations also possesses a command station with a large monitor, two portable power stations with a 2600W max output and 4400W peak output, solar panels for use during power outages, and can livestream.
Operating in compliance with Part 107 of the
Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Federal Aviation Regulations, American Air
Operations is committed to safety.
All pilots hold an Airman Certificate with a sUAS rating from the FAA,
and the company possesses aircraft and liability insurance. Our highly experienced pilots have flown extensive public safety missions.
